The eZ publish Network is a yearly bundle of services and tools from eZ systems, the creators of eZ publish. The eZ publish Network both eliminates potential problems and fixes critical issues if they arise. This will reduce risks dramatically and improve the efficiency of your eZ publish installations.
eZ publish Network edition
A robust and security-hardened edition of eZ publish that excludes unstable features. This version is kept secure and stable with a continuous cycle of critical bug fixes, security patches and rigorous testing. Like all editions of eZ publish, users have the freedom to choose between proprietary licensing or Free Software/Open Source GPL licensing.
Monitoring tool
An online tool that continuously evaluates the stability and performance of your system by monitoring system settings, server load and changes to the configuration of eZ publish and the software that eZ publish depends on.
Update manager
Ensures that updates to your eZ publish installation are automated, convenient and problem-free. The update manager receives regular updates from eZ systems, and allows you to choose between semi-manual or fully automatic updates.
Managed upgrades
In addition to the automated update service, eZ systems provides a managed upgrade service for upgrades between major versions of eZ publish. A managed upgrade allows the eZ team to apply their experience to your upgrade and is the best way to smoothly move between major releases of eZ publish. One managed upgrade per year is included with Gold and Platinum network subscriptions. Additional managed upgrades may be purchased.
Priority support for bug reports
All valid reported bugs from network subscribers will be given priority handling. Once fixes for the bug have been created and tested they will be applied to the eZ publish Network edition and added to the network update feed.
Priority security updates
Security issues are fixed and updated for network subscribers before public announcement of the security issue is made by eZ systems.
Unlimited support and troubleshooting for critical bugs and security issues for Silver or higher level subscribers
Unlimited support for critical bugs and security issues, which will be solved, tested and updated on your system before they are updated in the eZ publish Network Edition.
